How long does it take for a employer to respond?

I applied for a job yesterday but the employer has not responded to me yet and I want to know how long it usually takes.

Anywhere between 1 hour and 1 month. Keep looking and applying for jobs you are interested in while you wait

However long it takes.  Some companies review applications daily and call people in for interviews very quickly.  Other companies wait weeks before decide which applicants they want to contact.

I never waited for them, I was busy applying at more places until I found a job.

Depends on the employer, but usually theres quite.a few people applying for the same position, and it takes them a week or two to gather all the applications and respond to them

Totally depends. Most try to respond within a few days, but some wait longer and some don't bother to respond at all.
