DOWNTOWN TORONTO CLIENT URGENTLY REQUIRES A FULLTIME SENIOR NETWORK ANALYST
The Senior Network Analyst oversees the technical and design aspects on the network infrastructure.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar
• 5+ years in designing, integrating and support of an enterprise network infrastructure
• Cisco Certification (CCIE preferred) with relevant work experience
• Experience working in a team environment with minimal supervision
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Cisco CCIE or CCNA is an asset
• Expert experience and knowledge of:
o TCP/IP v4, LAN, WAN, Firewall, Routing, Traffic Shaping, QoS, Load Balancing, WAN Acceleration
o Experience in architecting enterprise LAN, WAN, and network security (Firewall, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems) infrastructures is a must
o Load balancers including F5 BIGIP LTM, GTM 3600, VE
o Riverbed Steelhead WAN optimization appliance 5050 series
o VoIP implementation using Cisco VoIP infrastructure and solutions
o VoIP protocols such as SIP, G.7xx, H.323 and MGCP
o Cisco networking infrastructure including Cisco Catalyst 4500 / 6500 series switches and 2800 / 3800 series routers as well as Nexus
o Skilled at configuration of Cisco IOS
o Routing protocols including RIP v1/v2, OSPF, BGP, OSPF, IGRP and EIRGP
o Wireless protocols (802.11x, LWAPP), wireless security (WEP, WPA2, EAP, PEAP)
o Experience in configuration and support for various Ethernet switch technologies including VLANs, Layer 3 routing, Trunking, Port Mirroring and Link Aggregation
• Advanced security knowledge and experience with:
o RADIUS or Microsoft Internet Authentication Service (IAS) authentication
o IPSec
o Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), X.509 certificates
o Network Vulnerability Scanning tools recognized by SANS or OVAL
• Experience with Windows networking services such as Active Directory, DNS and IIS is an asset
• Experience with Ethernet technologies is a must (Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet)
• Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting and managing an enterprise network infrastructure
• Broad knowledge of network operating systems including Windows 2000 Server and Windows Server 2003
• Broad knowledge of desktop operating systems including Windows 2000 Professional and Windows XP Professional
• Broad knowledge of server and storage infrastructures is an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
