Right now I have a BS in sociology. All the jobs I've had were entry level low paying jobs that require a lot of work.I want a job that is high paying and a real career.I was thinking I-O psychology,Statistics,Computer Science.I know I wasted my time getting this degree.I have $26,000 worth of debt and make $2 an hour more than minimum wage.I was making more at my factory job before college. So if any of these fields will be worth while or you have any that come to mind.I could use your help.Thank You

Without practical experience a Master's degree will not get you a higher starting position. There is a big difference between academic and practical experience so you will need to start out in the same entry level jobs so you can learn how to apply the basic knowledge you acquired in school. With the added education, you should be able to advance quicker if you learn how to apply the training to the real world. Good Luck

do not wase a dime on a Masters until u spend

a few weeks at BLS.gov/OOH for real info on

careers/jobs IN demand. not college myths, hypes, lies.

many IN demand careers/jobs can be started in under

two yrs at local community colleges paid in cash

even at present income.

many C.C. programs lead to 35000 - 60000$ yrly

careers/jobs.

many '4yr degrees' do NOT.

some C.C. programs lead to 65,000 - 100,000$ yrly

in Fifth yr.

as for 'factory' jobs, ware house forklift operators with

certifications , here, earn 13 - 22$ hrly and can work nights

while u attend college.

visit local payscale list for info on what is in demand and PAYS.

use a library for info on each career/job.

study - financial peace, dave ramsey to learn how to make your

money go further and behave.

good knowledge makes good luck.
