I just got a job at a factory workplace through a temp agency, and the temp agency gave me a saliva drug test. I will only be working at this job for a month while I'm home on winter break from college and will not be handling chemicals, forklifts, of heavy machinery, mostly just assembly line work. What are the odds or will the actual company give me another drug test when I start there?

Ask if they do random drug testing. Most employers do drug testing these days. You should be sober while you're on the job. The don't want to be liable if you get injured, or have an accident while you're high and at work. Even assembly line work needs you're concentration and focus.

If they do random drug testing they could test you. So save getting high for when you have some time off.

Why do you care if they give you another drug test? Is it because you plan on taking drugs? Maybe you should quit now, before they fire you. It would not be futuristic if you fail a drug test. If you plan on taking drugs, what will that lead to? I will tell you. It will lead to MORE drugs and MORE drugs. Your life will be over soon. Your employment will go first then your health then your life. Good luck on the other side.

It's entirely possible for the factory to test you. There is no way to know whether or not they actually will.

It's unlikely they would test you again. They depend on the temp agency to screen employees.

Most companies do random drug testing.

I don't know where you live or what company you work for, but I'd wager that there could be either the one drug test or reguy to irregy drug tests.

It varies by company, so it's doubtful anyone here can give you a definitive answer.
