A part time job might be every weekend. A temporary job just last for a short time.

a part time job is one you have a limited number of hours to work on a regular schedule, will normally be less than 32 hrs for a pay period and you have the job until you quit or are fired
a temporary job is one there is no assurance that you will be needed to work the next day or succeeding days, it is generally a one time thing of unspecified hours

Temporary jobs are not permanent, people are usually hired for a few months if they need extra people.
Part time jobs are usually more permanent but you usually don't get the benefits of having a full time job and any where from 4-35 hrs a week.

Temporary jobs are short-term and usually end at some point (i.e. 6 months, 1 year, etc). Part-time jobs usually end when you've had just about all you can take which sometimes isn't very much if the company has a bad reputation and needs to get their act together.

A temporary job is just that - temporary such as a seasonal job - hired for the summer, or hired for the holiday, etc. A part-time job carries fewer hours per week than a full-time job - approx. 30 hours or less a week but can be permanent.

A temporary job can be full time, it just doesn't last very long. Maybe a few days, maybe a few weeks, maybe a few months.
A part-time job is less than 40 hr/wk, but can be permanent.

a temporary job is like a summer job, it has an expiration date. whereas a part time job is working for however long the employee decides to but for no more than 35 hours per week.
