There's a couple things you can do on the side for extra money. Some things I used to do were online surveys and mystery shopping.



I don't recommend doing online surveys though because the time spent doing the surveys is not worth the reward. You would be better off getting part-time job than doing surveys. Mystery shopping on the other hand can be quite rewarding. I was able to make around $100 a month doing shopping assignments and I was getting free things as well. It only took a few hours of my time so in reality, it was like making $20-30/hr for a few hours every week or other week.



However, if you have a car then you should try being an Uber or Lyft driver. It makes my earnings look like small potatoes. I think that has the most potential for higher earnings on the side.

By things when prices are cut and stock up in a freezer. There's an app called ibotta that lets you get rebates from stores you shop at and can claim it into your paypal account. Shopkicks is another app that can get you free gift cards if you collect enough kicks. You could also do surveys on sites like inboxdollars, cashcrate, treasuretrooper. Sell old stuff you no longer want or need. Lots of ways to get extra money.

For example, you want a Swarovski Nirvana Ring 249.00, and Nutribullet Juice Maker 149.00. Which one would you think i will save money for? I will save money for the ring first and the first item i will buy, would be the ring. So until money saves up to 249.00, i will not buy anything else. Not until i get the ring.



So if you have something you really want , its better to save and then buy. That way it will be fund and enjoyable and you wont have any trouble with money. So saving is the best.

let's take this thing apart....if you charge a fee for anything you "must" have a state business license to work. If you're going to make just a small amount then it's not worth doing since the license costs money. Now the best way to earn once you have that license is doing a service. To do a service and make sure you are paid you'd need a contract (a contract requires 10 things, who, what, where, when, why, what happens if not paid, etc.). Nothing is rewarding and for sure not truly rewarding unless you get out and talk to people, but if you expect you're going to just put out an ad and expect lots of people will come to you well that's not going to happen. And yes marketing works like if you contact 400 people you might get 1/5 that respond and then a few from those who will actually use your service, and for those you'd have to do a good job. Remember that word of mouth gets around, it gets around when you do a good job, and it gets around when you do a bad job. Sometimes it depends on whether you're male or female doing the job as some still prefer certain people to do the job (it's in their eye's mind what they expect this person to look like, for instance if you're going to pick up leaves, shovel snow, do sewing or baking, tutoring, caregiving, pet sitting or walking, or if you go further into a job where you'e approved for something like guardianship which you need to be approved by a judge). Do what you can do even if it's scrubbing toilets or uber or shopping. And it doesn't have to be just one thing. Advertise yourself as a mr or ms fix it.
