I finally have a phone interview with Alpine Access. I'd just like to know will the interview be a automated interview or will I actually have to speak to a person directly during this interview. I'd like someone to please answer if you've been through the process of actually work for them now.

Unlike the person above, I really don't think Alpine Access is a scam as I have seen it on the work-at-home forums. I am also seeking to work from home online doing writing.. Unfortunately I don't 100% know if your interview will be automated or not, as I don't really know anything about the company, but I would guess that you would have to talk directly to a person as I really don't see the point in having to give an interview if you are not even talking to a real person.

You can also ask on forums such as wahm.com and workplacelikehome.com, as since the people on there also work from home you should find out a lot more on there than on YA.

Btw I also just had a phone interview today.. I think I sounded kinda stupid but hopefully they'll consider me anyway LOL

I went through the Alpine Access application process. After leaving my email address and expressing my interest in applying I was given a username and password which would not work. I emailed Alpine Access but never received a reply. A few weeks later I tried again and was able to submit an application using a different email address. I was then directed to a phone number to submit a voice audition but the recording was nearly inaudible so I did not continue. Either Alpine Access has serious problems they won't acknowledge or the just want to make things as difficult as possible for applicants to see if they are resourceful I'm not sure. My experience was negative and I did not continue to pursue employment.

The consumer posting site http://www.ripoffreport.com has a couple of posts about alpine access. (One can just type into search.)

**Unfortunately, just about all work-at-home jobs are a scam especially if asking for money upfront or for personal info which may put one at risk for identity theft: http://www.ftc.gov and can click 'identity theft' or such.
