What does it mean by Date Available for work?
is that the day of the week or the day that I can start working for them.
In the application it doesn't have any other question like what time are you avalible so I hope I don't alter its meaning.

also list functions you perform on your present job or on your previous job:
what does it mean by functions?
it that my ability? like I have patience, diligent?

Business References, if I don't have one I don't need to write one right?

for their Emergency Contact Information, it only has a blank for spouse name, do I have to be married to get this job? -_-;
I want to put my aunt but it's not right on this application form.

Thank you and hope you can clarify these for me.

Date available means when you can start work for this company, you might have to quit a job first. If you really want the job I would put immediate start so you look willing and able.

Functions you perform, list everthing, sell yourself in a way that you are the best and only person for the job. You are polite, patient, honest, hard working, a good communicator etc.

Emergency contacts fill out with your aunts details and put a line through spouse. If questions are asked you can explain in the interview.

Last of all good luck Hope you succceed in getting there attention.

"What does it mean by Date Available for work?"

The day that you can begin working.

"also list functions you perform on your present job or on your previous job:

what does it mean by functions?"

The tasks that you carried out in your current/previous job.

"Business References, if I don't have one I don't need to write one right?"

If you have a current job (or had a previous job) then you will need to list their contact details as a business reference.

"for their Emergency Contact Information, it only has a blank for spouse name, do I have to be married to get this job? -_-;

I want to put my aunt but it's not right on this application form."

No, it doesn't mean you have to be married, it's just poorly worded on the form. Just write your Aunt's name and contact details and write "(Aunt)" after it.

okay this is simple and it tells you the answer right in the question.

1. available: whens the first day your availabe to start working.

2. functions: what skills or (functions) do you have that they will think you qualify for the position.

3.emergency contact: no it doesnt have to be your spouse just put your aunt as long as they have one they dont care.

4. business refrence: this is tricky, if you dont have an actual refrence put down a family member and tell that person in your family that your applying for the job and stuff and just make them tell them great stuff about you 99% of the time they never check the refrences.

i was a manager. we never checked those dont worry it will be cool

business ref=no you dont need to write one if you dont have one

emergency contact = anyone you want contacted in case of emergency no you dont have to be married to get the job

i totally hate filling out applications... to make matters i worse don't like writing and of course my handwriting sucks....i have to concentrate on writing neatly and try to remember previous employers, names, phone numbers, addresses, job duties etc. and if you've been employed more than once that can be a bit much. i wish everything was done electronically and a resume is enough....it can be tedious and boring....applications should be optional or done away with!!!
