I want to wear jeans, floral tank top w/ black undershirt, black flats, and my hair in a pony tail. Is this appropriate for a job interview for a grocery store? I wore jeans to a target interview and got hired on the spot. Thank you! :)

That sounds fine ... but what I 's suggest is to case the store before your interview date and see what other employees are wearing.

If you have a pair of black dress pants or Khakis I would suggest them but for an entry level position jeans are probably fine. You should really have someone not interested in the job interview first to see what the interviewee is wearing and if they really mess up, it will help make you look good.

In almost all circumstances, I would say no. I would wear khaki's at least. But, you know the job you are applying for much better than we all do. It also depends how bad you want/need the job. If you really need to get hired, then definitely don't wear jeans.
