I am applying for a summer job with my local school division. I need to supply 3 references. I'm 16 and have been working at my local Mc Donald's for 2 years. I was thinking that I could use 2 references there from managers?

And for my 3rd reference I'm kinda lost. Should I use a teacher, aunty or uncle?

I'm wondering what 3 types of people I should use as my references.

Your prior work managers are excellent choices to use for references. And I would definitely recommend a teacher for the 3rd reference. Your teacher knows your skills, has worked closely with you and should be able to communicate this to your prospective employer. Just make sure you give your teacher ample time to complete the reference letter.

Teachers are good. You could also use church ministers, or neighbors you may have done odd jobs for.

The best references are people who can speak confidently about your work ethic and reliability.

I don't think it would be terrible to use a relative for the third reference if you have work managers for the other two, but a teacher who likes you would be better.

It's not because your relatives aren't good people, but the hiring manager would most likely consider them not a good reference because they would tend to be biased in your favor.

You do could type them. I advise you apart from could type you call, address, and touch suggestions alongside with the date on the top. a pointy finding resume and references is significant. See in case you ought to use a acquaintances printer, or bypass to Kinko's. once you're short on people to placed on your checklist of references, use one buddy, one company, and doubtless a instructor or family individuals member. be advantageous each and all of the people you checklist as references recognize you used them as a reference.

Don't use a relative. Use a teacher, or someone else in the community.
