How much does a teen makes on the average with a part time job?

I just got hired at Schnucks as a bagger and I wanted to Get an estimate on how much i would probably be making weekly.

Depends on how old you are and where you live.



If there are labor laws restricting the hours that you can work, you may make less.



If you can get at least 25 hours a week, I'd say about 175-200

Average part-time work week is 40 hours, which is half what's considered full time. Consider manager work assignments and hours given you, based on business decisions.....bringing a more realistic weekly total of maybe 28 to 32 hours.



Take those two figures and multiply them with the current salary given--which I assume is the Federal standard Minimum wage. From THAT total, figure out a good estimation of state and local taxes----and there you have it: a fair pay estimation of what you earn.



Given Obama's forewarning our economy is going to get worse soon before getting better---what do you think that's going to impact your salary??? Don't look for any "Share The Wealth" plan to happen anytime soon---if ever at all.
