Letter asking to look in my application for a job?

hi i have applied job and had an interview and the guy said to fill in the applications and bring it, so i did but he wasn't there so i handed in to this other person yet she claims that shes busy and hasn't yet looked at them, i was wondering how can i write a letter asking for the guy (that interviewed me) to take a look at my application as im really interested :))
