For insurance companies and Private Investigators you will need to have some evidence photography experience.

I don't know what you mean by real estate, are you talking about photos of houses for sale? If so, just talk to a realtor, but be warned, they don't like to pay because that is less money for them in the end, and if they have a digital camera they can do it themselves.

For more information on evidence photography you can contact EPIC (Evidence Photographers International Council) at http://www.epic-photo.org

In every accident claim, the job of the adjuster is to verify liability (fault). The adjuster will take recorded statements from both drivers and also look at the damages to both vehicles to make sure that both sides makes sense. The CCTV may not show enough or not be clear as to what happened. Sometimes, when either party states a different "story", then the adjuster may have a person go to the scene of the accident to see things in "prospective" and take photos. This is more common than most people realize and I did this many times as a adjuster, when something did not make sense. Your insurance company has a duty to YOU, the policyholder, not him, who claims that he is not at fault for your damages. Most likely they will need this final piece of evidence to DENY the claim to the other person showing that he is at fault, not you. Don't worry, this is standard, so let them do their job. good luck
