I was hired recently as IT Support and the human resource assistant said to wear business casual. However, the people in the IT department and most of the work environment wears Jeans. Do you think it would be okay for me to wear jeans to work than business casual?

If I were you I would start off with business casual attire. This is important, especially if you have to go through a probation period. Try to follow the work rules. I have seen people get off to a bad start on their new jobs by trying to do what the veteran employees do. You look better to management when you start off following the rules. I know that sounds lame but that is the way it is. Anyway, I always wonder why jeans are thought to be so comfortable. Why not wear some dockers or something? Some dockers seem like the material is softer than jeans material. Another option is to wear your business casual attire for a week or so then ask your supervisor if it is ok to wear jeans. Hope this helps ;)

I would start out in business casual for a few months and then switch to jeans if you feel comfortable doing so. It wouldn't hurt to toe the line in the beginning. Maybe the department is about to crack down on dress code violations.

They gown in a count number that could separate them from others alongside with no goth; no heavy makeup and so on... they are o.k. groomed and pressure good hygiene. basically you would not be in a position to inform them from one man or woman to the subsequent, they save the position you save and gown in clothing which aren't to any extent further revealing yet stylish. undergo in recommendations that each man or woman has there own personality and there own way of dressing. i keep in mind that the girls placed on dresses to their conferences and the boys placed on suits that's out of appreciate to their God Jehovah. yet typically, No they do no longer have a gown code, only a respectfull code of ethics.
