My friend just graduated with a college degree in marine biology and has already traveled to the Bahamas (twice) and Panama to do marine bio work. She loves it and it definitely seems like a fun job if you end up going through with it!

But honestly, don't worry about what you want to be right now. If you plan on going to college, most people don't even choose a major until they are one or two years into school! And also, many adults change their careers throughout their lives, sometimes two, three, even five times.

Sounds like you have some idea about what you want to do and that's great. I suggest you do research on all jobs that involve caring for animals and find out what job seems right for you. Then you need to find out what you need to do to get into these fields. The Internet should have all the information you need.

im thinking about pursuing marine biology myself :)

alternatives are vet, zoologist, worker at a zoo or seaworld or aquarium, wildlife preserver, wildlife biologist, animal trainer, pet groomer, worker at an animal shelter, worker at a pound, pet seller (haha not sure what thats called?), animal breeder (is this really a job?), a person who gives tours to others at wildlife preserves

thats all i can think of :)

How about a butcher? Lots of animals in that field.
