Yesterday I went in for an interview an I got hired on the spot for the deli in Safeway. My brother is a clerk at Safeway also. I am a 15 y/o girl and I start my 8 hour computer training tomorrow. When I went in for the interview the manager said that the deli is the hardest department to work in because you have to remember all if the recipes for sandwiches an it gets super busy during linch and dinner. Now I'm kind of worried. I have been in the honour roll since grade 5 and I'm going into grade 10 and I think I'm alright at multiple tasking. But I am just very worried that I won't be able to remember them all. Does anyone have any advice in how to remember all the recipes for sandwiches and stuff? Anyone that has worked at Safeway or in the deli there, if you could help that would be great. Thanks 😊

1 grades don't mean sh#t in the real world kid 2 the only way to know what you are doing is to do it! Don't f*ck about! The best way to to learn is to do it! Mistakes are apart of the learning process do not be afraid to make mistakes! Do as much hands on experience! Also use what you know! If you know what type of "student" you are, if not I'd look up the different ways people are taught and pick your best one! If you are a visual for example then play monkey see monkey do! I'd also order the food you're most unfamiliar w/on break to try it out and see how they do it! I've been in the food industry for a decade and anyone in it will tell ya that the best way to learn is to do it everyday eventually you figure out your niche! Besides as a newbie you will probably just have to do a lot of dishes lol

Learn what all have in common and then the exceptions make up the different sandwiches which you can put on small cards. Maybe cut standard index cards in half. All will have bread.

Abreviate as much as possible. It will take you time to learn and everyone makes mistakes.

Good luck

wedding dress you can get for under 500. davids bridal is pretty good. or even places like target have dresses for cheap (very simple ones.. try looking online) i know places like mens wear house does deals where the groom gets a free tux rental if the groomsman go there too. flowers about 3-500. (try to work with the florist. they mark EVERYTHING up for weddings just tell them you want it cheap and they will try to work with you.. certain flowers are cheaper than others). (or think about fake flowers. you can get some pretty good ones for cheap if you look around) chairs. 2$ a piece for most places. - 400$ about 60$ for invitations if you go to Micheals and get the printable ones. with envelopes and everything included. d/j. im not having one- im having a sound system (my dad has one) hooked up to an ipod. photographer- you can get one for about 1,000. favors. at 1-2 $ a piece... about 400 decor. id avoid big flowed arrangements. maybe some simple creative single flower vases for center pieces. etc. you can budget thatt to 200-500$ your looking at about 3.500 right there including the location... hey you have 3,500 left ;-) you still need tables and chairs. for reception - and videographer. i would guess around 1,000 for that. it shouldnt be too too tough. just have to think smart and dont let people take advantage of you. as soon as you say the word wedding... prices go up.
