I worked in this company every weekends (iether Sat or Sun) iether they will call me to work or they scheduled me.I always work during weekends, for just one month now. Last Sat, I was given an employment No. I wonder now why I don't have a schedule to work, Infact I'm thinking that I could work on regular weekends when I received that employment no.

A lot of information missing here so my assumptions are as follows:

1. It is the hospitality industry (hotel, resort, restaurant?)

2. That you have been working as a casual employee

3. That you have been working with them for < 6 months

First things first..

They gave you an employee number....this is not a good or bad thing it is a standard. They may be changing payroll or rosters around. This shows a restructure is in place.

Your work schedule has changed....so I am gathering from your comments that you made a mistake? Well if it is a big one then not issuing shifts is a trouble free way to make you leave the company. If it is a little mistake you need to go in there ASAP and ask when your next shift is going to be scheduled.....dont raise the past....talk to HR dept or manager.

So all in all it seems that changes are happening and that you are caught up in it. Take the initiave and ask for when your next work is..tell them you are available any saturday or sunday (even weeknight or week morning). If they dont give you anything after that then time to move on.

Trust this helps....and good luck.

You seems very aware and concious of duties put on u. BUT extra awareness and conciousness sometimes bringsforth extra tension and anxiety.,probably u are thinking whether your authority is not pleased in your work. I DON'T think u have to worry about it unless u are noticed..

Talk to your boss, there seems to be a miscommunication.

You don't want to miss a day of work through misscommunication.
