How do I get a part time job?

I'm desperately in need of some supplementary income while I'm in school. I'm almost finished with my BFA but I really need some extra cash to pay for a few books etc.

I've applied at places like walgreems, but they always hurt me and say I didn't pass the assessment so I wasn't smart enough to get an interview. This has really hurt my feelings. I've worked at a pick n save doing the same work for over 5 years and I'm not smart enough?

Was this a lie? I felt like I passed the assessment with flying colors. I've worked in corporate settings,, I've gone to a very good school, I've had several scholarships and study abroad experiences and I'm not smart enough? I dressed in a suit jacket and dress pants, and was polite, assertive, and professional. How can I learn to be smart enough?

You could try some sales jobs that allow you to make your own schedules and you make money for just setting up an appointment with people and showing them the product, thats what im doing for some extra cash i make 16$ per appointment.
