Question:
Does anyone know where I can find legitimate work from home?

I've started with one transcription co. but they seem to be the only ones to take a beginner. I can't do call center work because I have 3 small kids and there's no such thing as "quiet" in my house..lol. I've been burned by at least 50 at-home business ventures. I just really need something that I can do from home, with either hourly pay or a decent piece rate, and that doesn't require absolute silence to do. I'm registered on several different WAH sites with forums, but most of the things listed are call center or selling stuff, and I don't have any extra money to invest in candles, jewelry, or makeup..lol. Thanks in advance@ :)

I haven't seen anyone who was able to find legitimate at-home work unless they started with a company and worked themselves into a position of trust to work from home.

To be honest you are opening yourself to a world of hurt. The information you provide to these types of organizations may not just burn you but could also set you up for identity theft, mail scams and other actions that could wreck your life.

I wish I could provide a rosier picture of the WAH scene but unless you want to spend your day on forums trying to rope other victims into clicking on a link with your affiliate ID you aren't going to find much opportunities that way.

Hi, I am sorry to hear that everyone below has had all bad experiences. I have been through my share of bad companies as well. I have, however, now found a great company and I LOVE my career. I work from home and I still get a 401k plan and benefits. The company is a member of the US Chamber of Commerce, National Health alliance and the National Dental Assocition. They have full training and support, so this was WAY out of my area, it did not stop me from being successful very quickly. It is mostly computer work. I also have children, 5 to be exact, and I do just fine, chaotic background and all. I would be happy to answer questions if it sounds like a good fit for you!

While you're looking, this isn't a lot of extra money, but it's easy... both of these sites send you e-mails (about 1-3 a day) and you click the link, read the site for at least 1 minute, then get paid about 1-3 cents per e-mail. You also get money for every person you sign up and every person they sign up, so that's nice. I get a check for $25 about every 2-3 months. The first site pays more per e-mail than the second.

Hi, My name is Tina. I was just reading your ad and I can really relate. I checked into a lot of home businesses only to find that I would regret it later. I have found a home business that does work. Most of us doing this business have kids, so background noise is not a problem. If you are interested check out my website, www.workathomeunited.com/123,request more information and I will contact you. This is no risk! Thanks, and good luck.

Look on e-bay and see all the homemade crafts for sale. You must have some skill or you can develop a skill. Use your Imagination to come up with your own craft products to sell. You can also sell them at craft shows and county fairs. I learned and did woodworking and was able to make good money limited only by the time I wanted to put in.
