Im a Middle School Teacher.....the base salery for me, a second year teacher in a small school is about 28,000



However, Im not in the profession for the money, its the internal rewards you get from watching a student struggle and finally understand a concept, or having a student come to you and tell you that you make them feel safe, those are the real pay-offs of my job. No one goes into the teaching profession for the money!!!
