im asking cos im planning to start a lab technician job in a biology-related lab as a trainee and want to know the common tasks such a role requires. or a website that explains the tasks and how to do them..in a PRACTICAL way with diagrams.

Well my husband who is a chemist says that what he does with Lab Tech's is that they do the work that the chemist can't spend time on. (the simple task jobs.) For example testing a pen that was just made. Or mixing small batches for testing. You might also do some research that has to be researched. Some of them also make sure that samples are sent out to companys that ask for them.

they run tests and test chemicals and find new technology i think or its what scientist do. and i think they got some roles in the medical field like x-ray technican etc.
