I'm wondering what a resume should look like. I'm currently applying for a job at a supermarket (Albertson's) and I want to make sure that if they ask for a resume, I have one.

I just graduated High School a few weeks back and I'm glad to say that I have good skills with computers and design. With how economy is doing, I want to help my parents out by taking the load off my expenditures.

So I ask, what should my resume look like? Post-Grad, little (professional) work experience.

Roaring is 100% wrong. It is the first thing they look at. I went to this presentation while I was at orientation for school. The lady was a representative for Monster (the job recruiting site). She said that your GPA is the first thing they look at. She also said that if your gpa is not a certain minimum they are looking for, they will throw out your resume with out even looking at your other credentials. Look at it this way, If you were an employer for Ernst & Young ( Big 4 accounting firm), who would you rather hire, the person who had a 3.8 gpa through out college, or the person with a 2.5? I mean just because you past high school doesn't mean you can go to any college you want right? GPA means a lot

More than likely a supermarket job isn't going to need a resume. You'll just need to fill out a quick application, possibly an interview, and pretty much hired.

If you do need a resume though, there are several templates you can download right into word and then fill out, section by section. Just google it.
