What's a good way to say this on my resume?

I am graduating in May and putting my resume together. I have great written communication skills, but how do I put that on my resume in a way other than just saying "Excellent written communication skills" or something very similar to that. It seems most people would write that and it wouldn't be taken that seriously. I don't have any writing awards to note on the resume, but have always been recognized by my teachers for my writing and just want to express it on my resume. Thanks :)

One page always! You have to get your resume down to one page, but that doesn't mean it is general. You need to be direct and to the point of the job listing and the company. A resume only gets skimmed so it needs to be to the point and dynamic so it stands out and shows you have the education and experience for the position. Make sure it is clearly written and has NO typos. Have it looked at by as many people as possible who have experience with resumes and take all advice to mind even if you may not agree. Take resume classes at your school also. People who review resumes for jobs are very picky.

Don't over think it. Everyone puts "excellent communication skills" on their resume. The main thing is if you are qualified for the job. Most people looking for jobs worry about each individual word too much. Most employers don't have time to read every word on a resume. They will most likely scan it to see what types of jobs you have held and what your major was.

believe me, in any interview the manager will "know" if you have good communication skills or not by talking with you and by seeing what your cover letter and resume looks like. If you're graduating in May (is that from college?) then they would start you out at the bottom rung anyway. It's the sheepskin and grade average that gets your foot in the door, plus who you know.

You just said it, "I have always been recognized by my teachers for my writing " I think it very original and will catch the attention of any hiring manager. I have never seen any wording like this..good going and good luck.

You could say that you have a strong command of the English language, espcially in written form.

hmmm, yes but remember to spell especially right ;) oh, and I'm not trying to bring you down, but if your writing is in fact as good as you say it is, shouldn't you be able to come up with a way to write that? I'm sure you can figure something out.
