superdrug sales advisor job?

hi, I'm 16 years young from London. I've just finished my GCSEs and I've been looking for a weekend/part time job. Theres vacancy at my local Superdrug as a Sales advisor(part time). I really need a job but what do u think shall i apply for it? Because I'm ONLY 16 and I think as a sales advisor i'll have to give advise and suggest ppl about make up & stuff. But I dont really know about make-up. And Does that Sales advisor and sales assistant mean the same thing?? I think sales assistant means looking after the things in the store, working in the till, helping customers by telling them where the things are. Sales advisor means giving advice to customers about make up and is sales advisor the head of sales assistant? I want to work as a sales assistant cuz i can do it bt sales advisor is not my thing..I just wanna know that what r the roles of sales advisor &sales assistant or is it the same thing??If it is the same thing shall i apply for it and what r my chances of getting the job?

Just to answer your last point first your chances of getting the job aren't going to be very high if you don't apply! Adviser and assistant are often used for the same role, so you could be on the till of stocking shelves - Superdrug tend not to have staff just floating about helping customers so I guess it will be around these two activities. Of course you will know when you get the job description so I strongly urge you to apply. If you don't mind me saying I think your problem is self confidence not lack of knowledge about make up etc - so applying will be really good experience for you. If you need help with the CV or any application questions come back here there are loads of people who will help - but have a go at doing it first then post it - people wont do it from scratch for you in my experience.
