Is it okay to apply for multiple jobs?

I will be a senior in high school next year so I'm starting to apply for jobs. I only want one part-time job for next year, but was thinking of applying for several (at a restaurant, at CVS), in case I am not able to get hired for any one job. So I am wondering if it is okay to apply to multiple jobs. What if I am hired for more than one job? (I just need one job.)

Yes, it's perfectly OK to apply for more than one job. People do that all the time.



The only tricky part is that you might end up in a situation where you get a job offer from one place while you're waiting to hear if you got a job with another (more desirable) place. So then you have to decide whether to take the sure thing or take a risk.



And you won't be *hired* for one than one job, unless you agree to have more than one job (because technically you have to accept the position before you are officially hired). So, if you get two job offers in the same time period, you simply have to decline one of them gracefully and thank the company for the chance to interview for a position.

yeah apply for as many as you can, because chances are you wont be hired if you just apply at one place, just be sure to call after you turn in your application, and ask to talk to the manager, then ask if its a possibiltiy for you to get an interview, [it impresses them that you took enough time to ask about your application] and you will probably get a job, if you get more than one interview just go to them all, wait a couple days and see which one calls you back wanting to hire you

of course its a good idea, thats what most people do. It will increase ur chances in getting hired.

Yes. I think you should apply again and this time track your application persistently and keep in touch with them .
