Uh oh, don't quote me....but it can mean anything from the damn telephone solicitors to finally finding a human being at the end of "press one for this...press 2 for that..press 28857 for..." maze!

For your application, say something like this "A helpful friendly person who is there to help customers......." barf...

Good customer service is when you listen to the customer first, hear them out- then problem solve ways you can assist them, and if you can't then get someone who can. A customer should always feel like they're being taken care of, no matter what the situation is

Cusatomer Service is the provision of labour and other resources, for the purpose of increasing the value that buyers receive from their purchases and from the processes leading up to the purchase. With the rising dominance of the service sector in the global economy, customer service has grown in importance, as its impact on individuals, households, firms, and societies has become widespread.

customer service is customer satisfaction

you might have heard 'customer is always right' you must believe in this and follow

customers are like baby's innocent, curious ,needs attention so just oblige

customers are not easily satisfied so work hard and be sincere in your approach

giving good service is all that matters do your best once they are your customers for life

It is a lost art!!!

Serve your customers.....why serve the people who provide your salary?????

Anyway, that seems to be the conventional wisdom among businesses these days. Hey, anyone who provides GOOD customer service always gets my business. The food can be mediocre and I will pay for it if I feel like I have been well cared for.
