Write up for those who violate policy, misbehave, or ignore their managers. I've given write ups to some employees for showing up late before. First ones are usually warning. Second is suspension. Third is termination. Some jobs are different though.

A written warning that goes in your file. Too many and you get fired.

It's a formal written warning for breaking a procedure. It usually includes what the consequences will be if it happens again.

It is an official documentation of an employee's violation of some policy or procedure that goes into the employee's permanent employment record.

usually some sort of disciplinary action. some start with a verbal warning. then some get a written warning. if they get too many, time off with out pay or even termination could come of it as a result.

It's basically a written warning, for doing some thing that goes against policy. Like showing up late too many times. If you get a lot of write ups then you can get fired. So try to follow the rules and policies the best you can to avoid getting one. You would have to ask your boss if they can tell you, why they got the write up.

It’s punishment for doing something wrong. You get to many write ups and you are out of a job.
