Need advice I want a job so desperately !!!?

I want a job I've looked and asked and given a million cvs and at first it was embarrassing because I was getting turned down a lot. Now I'm just used to it. Some were nice to email me back and tell me they have has "overwhelming responses" and they" can't hire me at this time" even though they are still advertising that position !! What am I doing wrong ? Please help me get hired . I'm so desperate ! I will be a cleaner if I have to!!!

I have no idea what you are doing wrong... maybe nothing, maybe one thing, maybe a lot of things.



All I can suggest is you look up if there is a free career assistance program in your area. Where I live there is something called Career Link.



Through these types of programs they can help you perfect your resume, help you improve your interview tips, give you courses on other aspects of job search, teach you things you may not be thinking of such as pre researching a company online so you can use that knowledge to butter them up at interviews, not just dropping off resumes but asking to speak to the boss and getting a pre mini interview, they can teach you about persistence if it is a place you really want to work at... etc etc.



Also, if there is no program such as this in your area, the library can help or online there are tons of articles and youtube is full of videos for help as well.

All you can do is to get a professional friend to check out your CV to see if it is actually appealing to prospective employers. Other than that you are not doing anything wrong and it is not your fault, we are still in serious recession where one in every 3 people of working age in the UK are now unemployed.

aw im sorry.. take your time.. it took for forever to get my first job at 19.. and ive been working at a froyo place for almost a year now. be patient things turn out great. i just got hired as a dental assistant with no experience! things happen for a reason! good luck just keep looking
